Dan Ludwig operates an independent sawmill in Fairlee, totally "off-the-grid."
He arranged to pick up my felled tree segments and to render them into usable lumber.

My trees prooved to be prettier that they were strong, so I traded some of my very desirable wide boards for these younger trees. They will be sawed to become 6x10 and 6x12 beams.
